| Concord Historical Society |
In 1971, Concord Historical Society was established to foster the preservation of what still remained of the city's heritage.
The Concord Historical Society has a Resource Center, where we conduct our nonprofit activities and where we have established a proper archive for our historical documents and photographs, and technical preservation publications. It is located in Suites E and F, 1601 Sutter at Fremont Street (925-827-3380). It is open to handle inquiries, research, and the sale of books, photos, and commemorative items.
We cordially invite you to become a member of the Concord Historical Society by completing and returning a membership application. These applications are available by contacting the Society at the address and phone number listed below. The form lists by category the activities described above. When you receive the application, please check your area of particular interest. A member of the board of directors or a standing committee will contact you to discuss the Society's activities and explore ways in which you can enhance the organization's effectiveness by becoming involved. You may want to encourage a friend or relative to become involved by giving a gift membership.
